Whether this is your first visit or your fiftieth, there is nothing like coming over that bridge (either one)! There is so much to see and appreciate here, especially the beautiful homes from the Ocean to the Sound, from Corolla to Hatteras.
I hope you enjoy this site and take a moment to drop me a line.
Pronounced Kuh-rawl-uh.
The furthest north in NC, Corolla (and 4x4 Carova) feature the large homes the Outer Banks has become known for. Dotting the sound or Ocean you can find homes up to 20 bedrooms. Serenity is the best description of the white sand and wide beaches, not to mention the Wild Horses who roam free.
Duck has a little bit of everything, with a central "town" feeling that is accompanied by a pedestrian boardwalk. Nature and beauty are everywhere. Shops & Dining, as well as town sponsored festivals & events draw folks here year-round. Smaller cottages, co-ops and larger homes are all part of the casual yet elegant feel here.
You have Arrived! These towns greet you to the Outer Banks via the Wright Bros Bridge. Old school bungalows and and hidden tree-lined neighborhoods are all part of the community feel. Take the "Beach Road" for step back in time and smell that salt air! Don't miss the fishing piers. If you want convenience this is your place!
Centrally located between MP 4-9 KDH offers a variety of year-round amenities and is home to most of the Outer Banks full-time residents. Colington Road offers a turn most have never heard of, but follow it to affordable waterfront living. Home of the Wright Brothers "First Flight" and a variety of retail and dining, you can find it all "wright" here!
Perhaps the most quintessential of all beach towns Nags Head is known for its cedar shake generational beach homes. Jockey's Ridge dunes also draw folks for the sprawling sunset views. With 11 miles of shoreline Nags Head has something for everyone, from Jeanette's Pier - the largest OBX Pier, to the quieter southern section of town.
Quaint & Charming - This coastal town has year round residents, charming B&B's and a delightful Waterfront Marina. Home of the Lost Colony, as well as the NC Aquarium this place oozes history. So much to enjoy & explore here!
The start of the "Southern Beaches" this area is south of the Bodie Lighthouse (pronounced BODY) so the scenic drive made famous by the movie is your welcome to these towns. Laid back and very casual RWS beaches are more rustic and feature some camping opportunities, as well as a no shoes required feel. Less crowded but still close especially when entering from Baum Bridge/64 and points West.
A true getaway, these southern towns start around MP 55 and are dotted by ocean side beach ramp access. The towns are spread out and built for relaxation. This is home to many famous outer banks sites including the Hatteras Lighthouse and scattered shipwrecks. Fishing charters are prevalent and you will always want to get the local catch, it was swimming that morning!
After Catching the ferry from Hatteras you arrive to an island like no other. With a Key West feel and locals who are there on purpose, this charming island will make you forget about time! You can walk or bike anywhere and explore all the hidden treasures of an island that dates back to 1715! This is a great day trip from any of the OBX towns and many family's are repeat visitors. Hit hard by recent storms Ocrocoke is one strong place!

I have been in Real Estate for over 15 years and have been vacationing and living on the Outer Banks since 2000. I love exploring the road less traveled and finding the true character of all the unique homes & towns here. But what sets this place apart are the kind and genuine people that call this place home! As a buyer, I look forward to welcoming you to that bunch. For sellers, I pride myself on easing the process and helping you move forward with confidence in our selling plan, making sure your house shines for prospective buyers.
In my free time I love spending time with my husband and fluffy labradoodle, beach-combing, cooking, and enjoying the natural beauty of this blessed place. I am sound-side fanatic! I enjoy creating art and volunteering in the community at various surfing contest, festivals, food pantries, and with Meals on Wheels.
My clients become like family while we work together, and friends long after. I look forward to meeting you and your real estate goals!
